About Chequered Flag Motorsport CIC
In 2018, Gary Booth, a 30-year stroke survivor, founded Chequered Flag Motorsport, driven by his own battles with discrimination and ignorance.
By 2020, this passion project had evolved into a registered Community Interest Company, transforming lives through the thrilling world of motorsport.
Chequered Flag Motorsport began with a mission to raise awareness and provide rehabilitation opportunities for stroke survivors.
As the organisation matured, Gary realised that his experiences resonated with a broader audience.
Today, Chequered Flag Motorsport embraces the entire neurodiverse community, including individuals with autism, ADHD, PTSD, and amputees.
People whose brain functions differently from what is considered ‘normal’ find a place here.
What We Do
- Access to unique motorsport themed events, designed to provide opportunities to improve rehabilitation and reintegration for those with long term neurological conditions, with the aim of improving general wellbeing.
- To become part of a like minded community
- Access to professional coaching around mindset and mental health.
- Be part of an environment where sharing and support are key and to learn from experience of others, that have faced the same or similar emotions and challenges.
- Being able to participate in activities never envisaged, which can lead to increased confidence.

- To have the same access and in many cases greater access to motorsport as neurotypical, non disabled, privileged individual possible take for granted.
